After that was a tour of some of the memorials. Now we're on our way to the dinner theater.

What a fantastic day!!! It's 70 degrees and sunny! We've had another eventful day. We started wth souvenirs shopping and then went to Ford's Theater to learn of Lincoln's assasinaton. From ther we went to the Smithsonians. Each group and their chaperones got to chose which combination of museums they wanted and what they waned for lunch. That flexibility was so helpful. My groups made it into the African American history museum that many people are waiting months to get into.

Wow! You covered a lot of ground. I'm so glad they got to see and experience all that. How many times has "Hollywood" checked his hair?
